Mission Kayak - Associate 

Hourly Pay: $15/hr
Location: San Antonio, TX – Pearl or King William
Job Summary:
As a Kayak Rental Associate, you’ll help guests enjoy a safe and fun day on the water. You'll assist with loading/unloading kayaks, distribute life vests and paddles, and provide basic safety instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow the Mission Kayak Mission: to make sure customers have a lot of fun!
  • Set up and break down kayak station daily
  • Load and unload kayaks from trailers or storage racks
  • Fit guests with life jackets and paddles
  • Ensure waivers are signed and safety rules are communicated
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the rental area
Requirements:
  • Must be 16 or older
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or able to complete certification within 2 weeks)
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Friendly and customer-focused

Bike Tour Partner


Commission Based: 40% of each Tour + Tips!
Location: Mission Reach, Mission San Jose
Job Summary: 
Be the face of San Antonio’s most scenic and historical bike tours. You’ll lead groups safely on curated routes, offer engaging commentary, and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead 1–3 bike tours per day, 2–3 hours each
  • Share historical and cultural insights in an entertaining way
  • Check and prepare bikes before and after each tour
  • Assist guests with helmets, seats, and riding tips
  • Respond calmly to minor emergencies or weather changes

Requirements:
  • Confident public speaker with a love for local history
  • Physically fit and able to ride 10–15 miles comfortably
  • Friendly, outgoing, and punctual
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
